Recycling - Drop recyclables at an Evergreen Recycling location; but clearly mark "Cowan Heights United Church" on the bags and confirm same with the attendant if you wish to donate to the CHUC account.

Sales of Life - The "Sails of Life" is an oak silhouette of a sailing ship mounted on the wall at the back of the church. The design reflects the nautical theme adopted by our church to recognize our sea-going heritage. Plaques for the silhouette can be donated in memory, in celebration, or as a gift at a cost of $60 (includes 60 characters; extras are at $0.15 ea.). Thanks to all who have supported this fundraiser. Persons wishing to donate can call the church office (745-2871) or pick up a form in the church foyer.

Bridges To Hope (Food Aid Centre) - In need of food and/or money for increasing numbers of clients.

Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) - Why not consider the PAR Program for your church givings? This program is administered by National Office and enables regular contributions on a monthly basis on or about the 20th directly from your bank account or credit card. For those on PAR, small cards are available on the bookcase for the offering plate.
